To fly from New York to Atlanta - it takes two to two and half hours - so if you get a flight between 11am and 1pm that would be great. I figure you have to check out from your hotel around 11 anyway. As for the three nights at the hotel, I am planning to stay two of the three nights with you - Tuesday and Wednesday night. - Since my mother is leaving on Friday, I feel that I should spend Thursday at the apartment with her. As for when you fly back, it just depends on when the flight leaves on Monday and whether you need some time to recover from the long trip.
I am sorry if it appears to be complicated. But I rather let you know now about my prior engagement, my mother being in town- rather than surprise you. We are going to have a great time.

The whole planning sounds perfect to me! Just a couple of thoughts:
- Until what time can you pick me up at the Airport on Monday 24th? I don't know how long the flight takes from NYC to Atlanta... should I take the flight from NY at 4 pm at the worst?
- If I stay in downtown for three nights, are we both going to stay there ?

I'm plannig to fly back to Chile on Monday 31st. However - if that doesn't suit you - I can fly back on Sunday night. Just let me know.
As for your mother, I'll be more than happy to meet her, and perhaps I could even help you out with her if you want me to.

Hey honey:

I have been doing some scrambling.

I think that things will work out for that week.

Here is what we have to plan around.

Monday the 24th - that evening from 7 pm to midnight/1am - I have plans that I cannot change. I am going to of all things - Monday Night Football with a dear friend who is coming into town just for the game.
Tuesday the 25th - my mom flies in at 8 pm
She flies out on Friday.

Here are my thoughts - if you are flying to Atlanta on the 24th fly in between noon and 4pm. Stay at my apartment. If you are flying to New York on the 20th and working that weekend you will be tired anyway. Take that Monday evening to relax and sleep.
As for my mom - my thoughts are either I get her a hotel room or I get you one. I am thinking because I live so far out in the suburbs - no buses, nowhere to walk to. That it would be better if I got you a room downtown for three nights. That way you can explore the city while I am working. Also, since I work downtown, we could have lunch everyday too. As for the weekend, depending on the weather and how we are feeling - we can go to the mountains, or to Savannah and the beach, or just stay in town.

I guess you would be flying out that Sunday or is it sometime Monday.

I am sorry for the long email. But I just wanted to let you know.

My week is OK. I will be happy when the weekend comes. Soy consado. Necessito dormir esta fin de semana. Ophelia will cause a lot of flooding and beach erosion - which is a shame because the NC beaches are really nice. But at least the area affected is not heavily populated. It is not New Orleans. Only a few thousand people live on the barrier islands known as the Outer Banks. Como estas?

My Dear:

The flight back was a nightmare... there was a big storm in Miami at the time we got to land - the pilot tried to land twice and it was impossible, the plane was shaking like a blender!!! it was so scary... At the thirth attempt, we made it, but then the airport was closed because of the big storm - rain and lightnings - and we missed the connecting flight to Santiago... we had to switch our ticket to Lan Perú and get Santiago throught another connecting flight which stoped in Lima, which departured 2 hours later... Yesterday I slept twelve hours... and I'm still tired.
My father is fine and back home, but still he must keep resting for two more weeks.
Everybody happy to have me back, my doggies above all!!
I hope you had enjoyed the trip to California.
It was very important for me to see you again, I just regret to have been so worn out and the few time we were able to spend together because of my schedule.

You're very right! Packing is being a big nightmare to me... I just cannot make up my mind about the clothing I'm going to pick for this trip... and also I must left space enough on my suitcase for the presents I'll bring with me to and from USA! - I've already got your bottles, tiny boy, anything else? this is your last chance!!!
I'm sure we will have a wonderful trip - the visits should be interesting and also I'm trying to make some arrangements to meet some people in California that I'd love to see again...
It's going to be wonderful being there one more time, looking at the Golden Gate, SFO streets, the Bay view, the vineyards, I'm so excited...
My flight is leaving tomorrow at 20:45 hrs, and we are supposed to be arriving to San Francisco on Saturday 3th at 11:28 hrs.
